WNM: engaging local people to promote natural capital for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development
WNM is a Malagasy association created in 2022 by biologists. We are legally recognized as an association to work on the common benefits under the law 60.133. We are committed to the conservation of natural habitats and to the promotion of local development. Our main focus is forests, freshwater wetlands, mangroves, and oceans. We work at the landscape level to fight the erosion of biodiversity within those ecosystems.
